Compagnie Sud-Atlantique: An original stained glass art work created by ocean liner buff James Oxborrow showing the ship in rough seas. The technique is the old Tiffany style of copper foil and lead soder. Each piece of glass is hand cut and the work is on-of-a-kind. "I loved breathing new life into the long forgotten LUTETIA," says Oxborrow. "Launched in 1913, she was a beautiful ship with opulent interiors. The fastest on the South American route, she rammed and sank a Greek cargo ship on the return of her maiden voyage. In 1927 she suffered such wind pressure at St. Nazarie that she heeled over and sank. She was raised and repaired, and finally was scrapped in 1938." 22 1/2" by 31", 360 pieces.
