Circle Line: For generations visitors have viewed Manhattan from Circle Line boats. In past years they would have been treated to a grand spectacle of the world's greatest ships tied up to New York piers. That's what makes older Circle Line tour guides so interesting. The ship was dying out fast when this guide was printed in the early 1970s. The photos are all in color, and for the ship buff there are pics of the 3 sided Holland America pier, the EXOCHORDA tied up at the Stevens Institute pier, an artist's concept of the rebuilt passenger piers, and many views of the city from the water.
