USL: This magnificent teapot is a limited edition created especially for Nautiques by Racing Teapots of Great Britain. The teapot is 10" long and 4 1/2" tall, and is complete with the Nautiques logo on the bottom. It is cast from the original Art Deco moulds which have been rediscovered. Racing Teapots uses the same work methods and materials used when the moulds were first created. The only thing that has changed is the standard of finish which is much higher than the 1930s. Their team of decorators, led by a former Royal Doulton artist, artfully applies the valuable, silver-based platinum lustre, just as it was done in the heyday of the Art Deco era. This UNITED STATES teapot is a special for my Nautiques customers.
