U. S. Line: The Big U rarely crossed the Equator but she did the crew was ready for the age-old ceremony where Neptune dunked passengers in the pool. Here is his trident from that ceremony as removed from the ship in the early 1980s. It is made of wood (!!!) and stands about 7' tall. A very unusual piece of Big U memorabilia!
