In the back are several pages of beautiful color maps. What a journey this must have been! Five months long, with stops at Funchal, Gibraltar, Algeria, Monaco, Italy, the Holy Land, Egypt, India, Ceylon, Burma, Malay, Siam, Vietnam, Java, Dutch East Indies, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan, Hawaii, California, Panama, and Cuba. The FRANCONIA, minus the green paint, was the CARONIA (1948 version) of her time.
