French Line: A sign for "Frigeco" refrigeration equipment on the new FRANCE. The sign was probably distributed to French refrigeration dealers around the time of the ship's launch to capitalize upon the publicity. The image is one of the famous Marin Marie paintings. The sign measures 10" by 16". The image is printed onto a thin sheet of metal, laminated, and then fit onto a cardboard core. There is an attached hanger at top. The sign is in good condition with a little fading to the image, and some bends and nicks.
