White Star Line: Two 7 +" by 9 +" photographs from the Harland & Wolff Collection at the Ulster Folk & Transportation Museum. The first show both the OLYMPIC and the TITANTIC under construction at the ship yard. Look closely and you can see signs in front of each reading "White Star Royal Mail Steamer" with the ship name. Workmen seem to be preparing the OLYMPIC for launch. What a technical wonder the huge metal framework and derricks that surrounded the ships must have been. The second photo shows the TITANIC further along in her construction. An anchor is in place, her superstructure is built up, and it appears bleachers have been set up in front for her launching. Two elegantly dressed ladies are taking in the scene. Price for both.
