Various Ships<br>Captain Dinner
Alcoa Line: A "Captain's Dinner" menu with a tropical cover featuring the names of the handsome combo post-war fleet - ALCOA CAVALIER, ALCOA CLIPPER, and ALCOA CORSAIR. These 98 passenger ships plied the route between New Orleans and the Caribbean. There is no date on the menu, nor mention of which ship it is from, but there are 3 pages - the menu in English, the menu in Spanish, and a page for autographs. Everything is held in place by a braided silk cord. These ships were very popular when introduced in the late 1940s, but by 1960 times had changed. Alcoa sold or mothballed the trip and concentrated on 6-12 passenger freighters instead.
