CORSICAN: 1907<br>Carved lobby
Allan Line: A rare interior view of the First Class Lobby aboard the CORSICAN, a ship that sailed the Liverpool - St. John route. This unused postcard is unusual because the image on front is actually glued onto the card, not printed. While the photo is not identified, on the back some helpful soul who was not a good speller wrote, "in the Corsaneon Allin line". The CORSICAN is the only Allen Line ship that fits the bill. The ship became part of Canadian Pacific when Allen Line was bought out and was wrecked off Cape Race in 1923.
