Cunard Line: A 24 page brochure from February 1977, just as these two "newest ships in the world" were hitting their stride. The CUNARD PRINCESS and CUNARD COUNTESS were improved versions of the less-than-successful CUNARD ADVENTURER/CUNARD AMBASSADOR twins from the early 1970s. The brochure starts off with 6 pages of photos and text describing public rooms, cabins, and deck areas. Next comes a 2 page semi-cutaway of the sisters, followed by destination info. In the back are 5 pages of plans showing 8 decks. These sisters sailed for Cunard well into the 1990s. Today the CUNARD PRINCESS sails as GOLDEN IRIS for Israel's Mano Cruises while the CUNARD COUNTESS is the OCEAN COUNTESS sailing out of the U.K. The brochure shows some writing on the cover, otherwise good condition.
