MOMUS/CREOLE
Cabin plan

MOMUS/CREOLE<br>Cabin plan
Morgan Line (Southern Pacific Steamship Lines): A fold-out deck plan for this sister ships of 1906-07. There is no date on the plan but since it doesn't mention the third sister ANTILLES which was sunk during WW1, it must be from the 1920s or early 1930s. The ships were large for coastal liners at 10,000 tons and this plan shows 3 classes. First Class held 152 and looks comfy enough with plenty of space on A and B decks. Public rooms consisted of a Smoking Room, Library, and large a Dining Saloon. Second Class with 58 passengers was tightly packed into the stern on C Deck. In the bow 250 were jammed into Third Class. Both ships sailed successfully until old age and economic slow down caught up with them in 1933.
