Italian Line: A very lucky Miss Frankie Byrne from Indiana bought a Tourist Class ticket for a voyage from New York to Naples departing on June 29, 1933. She had cabin #478 all to herself and paid $114 including tax for the honor, not an insignificant chunk of change in those Depression days.. We know all this because she kindly saved her ticket for us to enjoy 70+ years later. A notation on top indicates she sailed home on the EMPRESS OF BRITAIN. Handsome design.
