American Export Lines: The ATLANTIC entered commercial passenger service in 1958 as a budget class ship for the Arnold Bernstein Line. After about a year American Export took her over and sailed her throughout the 1960s. Perhaps the ship's most productive years came when C.Y. Tung bought her in 1971. The ship was converted into a floating university. Several Nautiques customers have fond memories of a semester at sea aboard the UNIVERSE CAMPUS, as she became known. The ship only recently was scrapped. This line issued postcard is unused.
