Shipyard History: A linen postcard from the 1930s showing an aerial view of the shipyard founded by Sun Oil in 1917. During WW2 the Sun Shipbuilding Company greatly expanded and at its peak employed 40,000. The yard closed in 1989. Unused but with some scribble marks on back.
