Italian Line: "Classic Ocean Liners Volume II: REX and CONTE DI SAVOIA" by Frank Braynard, published in 1994, softbound with 188 pages. The second in Brayanrd's series on classic ocean liners, this book is divided into two sections tracing the history of each ship. Lots of interesting insights into the design and history of both ships coming from Braynard's wealth of ship knowledge. Also many pages of photos, plus a section of color. This book helped me appreciate the lovely lines of the CONTE, and the rich interiors of both ships. Plus the story of the CONTE's failed gyroscope that was suppose to solve the problem of motion at sea. I am have a number of these books which I am selling for the Braynard family.
