Blue Funnel Line: A very upright looking ship, the SARPEDON and her sisters sailed from Liverpool to the Far East. After WW1 there was a big demand for berths heading to the Orient. Although with today's perspective I'd be hard pressed to agree, in her day many consider the SARPEDON to be quite the looker. She carried 155 passengers in that boxy superstructure. After WW2 her destination was changed to Brisbane. She sailed until 1953 when she was scrapped. This line issued card is unused.
