North German Lloyd: The well-known pre-war Bakelite ashtray with a naked Europa mounting a downed bull. "Fast Steamer EUROPA" is the English translation of the wording molded into the rim along with the line name. On back is molded the NDL key logo. This is such a nice item that I am not sure if it was sold as a quality souvenir or used onboard in the great ship's public rooms. 5 1/2" in diameter and in excellent condition with the exception of a 1/2" chip in the underside of the rim.
