General History: A book published in Germany in 1925, "Die Schiffaht im Wandel der Zeiten" which roughly translates as "Navigation Through the Ages", 136 pages, hardbound. The first 15 pages are text (in German) but the interesting part of the book are the other 121 pages which are all b&w photographs of ships through the ages. Lots of photos of German shipping from 1900 onwards including several deck and interior photos of the CAP POLONIO. The best is saved for last: a large fold-out cut-away of the "DEUSCHLAND Klasse" of passenger ships. Very good condition with a little soiling on the covers and a few tears in the cut-away.
