German text but with photos of almost every ship. Readers familiar with Kludas' English translation will recognize the format - a line or two of the stats of each ship, then a paragraph of significant dates and incidents. Even you do not read German the format is easy to follow. A great resource for ship buffs. Each book has about 150 pages. Hardbound, original dust jackets (vol. 3 has several tears).
