Ship Wrecks: "Lost Treasure Ships of the Twentieth Century" by Nigel Pickford, published by the National Geographic Society in 1999, hardbound with original dust jacket, 194 pages. Pickford provides a very readable account of 17 ships that sank with valuables onboard. Each ship rates a chapter and many illustrations. There is the TITANIC of course, plus EMPRESS OF BRITAIN, LAURENTIC, REPUBLIC, LUSITANIA and lesser known ships such as the AWA MARU and JOHN BARRY.
