Orient Line & Shaw Savill: Like all good ship souvenirs, this set of wooden coat hangers was swiped during a long England to New Zealand and back again voyage in the 1950s. Decades later the family sold them to Nautiques and now they are available for you. This is a set of three. The Shaw Savill hanger is made of oak with a rectangular bar across the bottom which has the line name stamped into it in black. The first of the Orient Line hangers is similar but appears to be maple and has a round bar across the bottom. The line name is stamped in green along one side. Both these hangers are 17 +" across. The final hanger is also from Orient Line but a little smaller, 16" across. The wood looks like pine to me. The line name is stamped in green at the top. Each hanger is in excellent condition and has a varnish finish to them. What quality! Compare these to cheapie modern wooden hangers made in China. Price for all three.
